Thanks to all that entered our "Make a CD!" Contest.  The results were announced at our 30th Reunion dinner party August 17, 2002.  Gary Brown did a great job creating the "30th Reunion Tour" CD for all classmates attending the reunion.  If you forgot to pick one up on the way out, or couldn't make it to the reunion, you can still get one.  Please send me a self addressed stamped CD mailer, and I'll pop one in the mail for you.  Just send me an email and I'll provide my mailing address.

Best wishes,
Tom Rogers

This is how the votes went:

The #1 song was Stairway To Heaven by Lead Zeplin

The #2 songs were American Pie by Don McLean, and Maggie Mae by Rod Stewart

The #3 songs were Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf, Day By Day by Godspell, Let It Be by The Beetles, Light My Fire by the Doors, Me And Bobby McGee by Janis Joplin, Nights In White Satin by The Moody Blues, Saturday In The Park by Chicago, and Teach your Children by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

And the winner is!

The first place winner was Keith Sullivan who picked 6 out of the top 11 songs.  Keith got a check from the reunion committee refunding his full day reunion ticket!

Second place went to David Scott (Mitchell) who picked 5 out of the top 11 songs.  David was the first to get a T Shirt from A.B.R.H.S. Reunion Gear!   He picked a white T shirt with the ABRHS logo on the front and a photo of Ray Grey on the back, and his famous quote "I'M NO MICKEY THE DOPE".

Third place was split between Bonnie Murray, Linda Wood (O'Neal) and Susan Crocker.  They each picked 4 songs, and will be receiving a free copy of the Class Photo taken at the reunion.

And here's the back side!

Check out some sites with music from our time:

Super Seventies Rock Site  (set for 1972, but you can change the year)

KaZaA.com  (Downloadable music)

In the 70's  (A reader-polled selection of Top Ten lists)

Classic Rock  (Top 500 rock and roll songs)

Lyrics World  (Recommended by Cynthia Lewis (Schroeder) shows the top 40 hits from 1930 - 1999 with the lyrics.  They also have the top singles for the decade)

Classmates.com  (has a Time/Life listening booth that plays a little bit of each hit)

Any suggestions for appropriate web sites would be appreciated.

Special thanks to Gary Brown, owner of the image factory, for his generous donation of time, talent, and materials in producing and distributing the "30th Reunion Tour", free souvenir CD.
